TOWER HILL STUDIO

South West’s home of Paint Parties! : )

I am a creative who loves all things art!

The start of my journey was as a painter in oils; which won me the Deans Art Award and led me to the now popular Wine & Art classes in the Southwest, splashbacks, and my painted Tower Hill Merchandise. I love finding ways to share my love of art with others.

Wanting to broaden my creative horizon I trained as a photographer at Uni where I discovered filmmaking as a stills-for-film photographer. After completing my degree I worked as a bands photographer, and in a photographic fashion studio, as well as working on council articles and vox pops.

After having worked behind the scenes on films for over 10 years I wanted to get in front of the camera and was accepted into the National Theatre of Drama. I trained in voice, alexander technique, theatre, scene work, improv, and movement. I followed this up by studying acting for film and television in courses and workshops with various professionals in the industry such as the highly respected Howard Fine.

This enabled me to get professional representation by Janine J Cowie Management, for work within the industry as an actor.

For the past thirty years, I have studied and worked in film and theatre, in both production and acting roles. A highlight of this time was producing a short film that was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival.

Having written a full-length film screenplay and numerous short scripts, and now a biography called Jenny Chats with Mary, it’s very likely that this will not be my last writing project.

With all this experience behind me, I created Tower Hill Studio where I wish to share my knowledge with others.

Tower Hill Studio acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their continuing connection to land, sea, and community. I pay my respects to them and their cultures, to the Elders past, present, and emerging.
